Other critics accept expressed their distaste for the Nintendo-similar sounds, repetitive sounds, song patterns, and use of audio effects across the album, besides as the improver of Machine-Tune.
Kerrang! magazine teased in their review of the album by proverb "K! tries to decide if Falling in Reverse's new anthology is genius or guff (to be honest we're still not sure!)." They went on to say that this anthology broke their score system, because neither 1/five nor v/five would have done the album justice. They gave it an overall rating of "Fuck Knows".[27]
Infectious Mag wrote a positive review about the anthology, they said "Combing a motley mixture of metalcore, popular, rap, and dubstep, Falling in Opposite deserves an A in originality. Some songs like 'Born to Pb', 'Cocky Destruct Personality', and 'Fuck the Rest' are more than truthful to classic form: screaming intros, shredding guitar solos, and a full general 'stone and ringlet' attitude. They are catchy, with enough musical toughness to satisfy the culling cravings."[30] Las Vegas Weekly had mixed review most the anthology, they said "Fashionably Belatedly, which augments the band'southward familiar metalcore-with-a-pop-eye with glitchy electronic flourishes, hip-hop swagger, state-influenced instrumentation and, on 'Keep Belongings On', piano and strings. Some of these musical progressions piece of work surprisingly well (and Radke is actually a decent rapper), merely Fashionably Late 's weaker moments—the bratty, misogynistic electro-popular chant 'Bad Girls Gild', constant references to Twitter and the awkward video game metaphors and sound furnishings on 'Game Over'—are blench-inducing."[26] Allmusic said that "Falling in Reverse deserve credit for their musical versatility" and highlighted to the tracks "Rolling Stone", "Fashionably Late", "Born to Lead" and "Drifter".[ii]
